Class level. Beginner-intermediate.  

Two day class. 3 hours each.  

Age: We have an age limit of 18 and older. If a parent or guardian would like their child under 18 to take a class, please contact Mark directly.  

Bring to class: Eye protection, ear protection, dust protection, close toed shoes.  

Drink and snacks provided.

What to expect. The first part we pick the wood to use as the base. We’ll show you how to use the jointer, then table saw, and the planer to get the pieces flat and the right dimensions. We’ll then do glue up. We’ll then use the jointer, planer, and table saw to cut the rails. On the second night we’ll show you how to use the table saw to cut dados. Next we’ll go to the Miter saw to miter the edges. We’ll then show you how to use a forstner bit and oscillating spindle sander. Lastly, we’ll show you how to use the bandsaw then the final glue up. On the third night we’ll do final sanding and show you how to do any hand planning needed. You’ll oil up your creation and take it home!
