Our Joiners chest is a small version of the Anarchist tool chest and one that can be used for many things.\nIn this class you’ll build an entire chest using dovetails\, tongue and grooves\, dado’s\, for the carcass and skirt. You’ll build a rail and stiles panel lid using mortise and tenon joints\, tongue and groove\, and dovetails. It’s a beautiful chest that can be used for many things\, but the skills you’ll acquire here while building it will open you up to build many other projects in future. All the materials and tools needed are supplied.This class is designed to be an intermediate to advanced course. DESCRIPTION:$75. \n\n\nLimit to 6 students.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpend a day learning how to make a Walnut Mitered box. We do a lot of demonstration how to cut miters properly\, how to use a shooting plane\, how to cut splines to add strength to your miters\, how to make liners\, how to maintain grain direction in a box\, and final finish and sanding. This class is intended as a hands on demonstration. The boxes we build will be sent to Lemons Of Love. They will donate the boxes to cancer survivors as a a keepsake box.
