For centuries carpenters have carried their hand tools to homes and businesses to make fine furniture and art. Our Joiners chest is a small version of the Anarchist tool chest and one that can be used for many things.
In this class you’ll build an entire chest using dovetails, tongue and grooves, dado’s, for the carcass and skirt. You’ll build a rail and stiles panel lid using mortise and tenon joints, tongue and groove, and dovetails. It’s a beautiful chest that can be used for many things, but the skills you’ll acquire here while building it will open you up to build many other projects in future. All the materials and tools needed are supplied.
