January 13, 14 & 15, 2026 6pm – 9pm each night
In this class you’ll be building one of three designs you pick from. End grain cutting boards are a far more unique looking board then your standard cutting board, and are better for your knives. This is a three evening class where you’ll learn to glue up, use a sled on a table saw, use a jointer, use a router, sand, and apply a finish. Come turn your own pen on a wood lathe! This is a beginning level class designed to not only make your own pen, but try your hand at wood turning. They are a lot of fun to make, make wonderful gifts, and there’s nothing like sculpting your own pen by your hand, for your own hand!! We have over 30 varieties of wood to choose from and we’ll take you start to finish so you take home your own hand made pen, but also know how to do it all on your own in future.Cost is $79 which includes all materials, shop time, and professional instruction.Max 4 people. 2 hour class -

Teach you how to use them and how to sharpen them.We'll be making 7" bowls for your to finish and take home. Species of wood will vary with each class.3 hour classCost is $150 -

Learn to use hand tools properly to cut this joint used for literally centuries. We’ll show you how to do to layouts, what tools you’ll need, and the techniques to make your own dovetail joint. You’ll leave here with your own jointed boards, and the knowledge to now build almost any type of furniture using this joint. Beginning to advanced level 1 day 6 hours -

A class built around the needs of our local area. You asked for it, and we made it! A one day course where we cover how to get started in woodworking! What different types, how to purchase wood, a brief description of hardwood species, what tools to use for your interests in woodworking, and most importantly safety. We dive into setup of machines and what hand tools to use in their place. Lastly we discuss the RIGHT steps to get each piece of wood properly dimensioned so each is square and you start with the best chance then of making a beautiful project. February 1, 8, 15 & 22, 2026 6pm - 8pm - each night
These are fabulous chest used for centuries and are great chest to hold tools, or almost anything. We build the carcass in this class using cherry and walnut as a highlight. We do a lot of hand plane work along with some machine work to join the box using dado’s and cut nails. You’ll learn some mill techniques, hand planing, making dado’s by hand, and learning how to build understanding wood movement. Intermediate level class/ 4 day class -
December 3 & 10, 2025 6pm - 8pm
This is a great class to take after the learn to epoxy class and an absolutely beautiful piece your friends and family will rave about. We use 3/4” thick live edge walnut and just about any epoxy color you can think of! We focus on prep work, sanding to get a proper finish, and applying an oil wax finish in the class. Learn how to avoid the bubbles, getting the look you want while not making costly rookie mistakes. Max class size 4.
