• Take your woodworking to the next level by making a long grain cutting board! In this class we look at 10 different types of hardwood and decide how to slice them to get the look YOU want. We use the table saw, router, sanders, and go over how to use a jointer/planer in class.
  • Build and then play your own electric cigar box guitar! Every thing is included to build your own in this one day class. Some experience suggested but not required. This is a great way to get started in building guitars, and they make great gifts! Learn the pleasure of not only building something but then making music with it!
  • A unique opportunity to learn to build a solid workbench while helping out the school! We’ll provide all the materials, tools and know how to build the benches. You donate your time and $200 and we’ll teach you to build the benches the school will use for decades. We’ll be using a design through Lost Art press and utilizing Benchcraft hardware to build heavy stout benches from yellow pine. Theres a lot to learn and you’ll be using fun and unique tools. Mark will even grill out for lunch each day.
  • Come and learn how to use epoxy to add accents and beyond to your woodworking. Emphasis is put on types of epoxy and how to use them for each piece. We’ll cover the ins and outs of whats best for each style of woodworking. This class is intended for the woodworker who wants to add that little bit of flair to their wood projects. We’ll make small charcuterie boards in this 2 night course to use what you learn.
  • This one evening class is designed for beginners to learn a bit of woodworking and make their own charcuterie board! We’ll help! We can show you and help you with every step of the way. Come have fun and show your friends and family what you’ve made!
  • This class is intended for those interested in different types of hand carving wood. We’ll cover different styles, types of woods, tools needed, and how to sharpen them. We’ll even go into spoon carving where each student will get to start their own spoon! Very fun and informative one day class.
  • This one evening class is designed for beginners to learn a bit of woodworking and make their own charcuterie board! We’ll help! We can show you and help you with every step of the way. Come have fun and show your friends and family what you’ve made!

We’ll go over terms, types of woods, over the tools and machine and what each one does and spend a lot of time talking safety. We’ll break for lunch then come back and begin to build a tool tote from cherry wood. You’ll leave with the confidence to start your own projects and what you’ll need to accomplish them. And a cool Tool Box!
