Come build one of three designs of a charcuterie board from Walnut, maple, or cherry hardwood. This is a beginners class and can be taken individually or as a couple. We’ll be using the band saw to shape the board, drill press, sanders, a router table, and we’ll finish the board with food safe oil. This is a very fun class and takes about 3 hours. Materials and everything included. -
In the class we’ll demonstrate different oil finishes, some you know, and some you might not. We’ll discuss their structure, safety, best application methods, and what each is best suited for. You’ll leave with an outstanding knowledge of how to apply a better finish for each of your upcoming projects.

Walnut box class description. Come make a keepsake box out of walnut. This one day basic class we cover the joints required to make a simple box but made to last. We’ll cover gluing, milling, clamping, sanding, applying an oil finish, and use many power and hand tools. This is a great and fun class!

This is a demonstration class where we discuss different types of turning, show how the tools operate, and for fun we make a bat! You’ll get a bit of hands on during this class just to show you how fun it is! This is one of the classes we suggest to families that want to have their children come out and take a class.

Build your own beautiful plant stand! This 6 hour class, or 2 3 hour night class is for beginner/intermediate levels. We use cherry, maple, or hackberry wood to build a stand that can also be taken a part and conveniently stored. This is a particularly fun group project!

Learn the art of using a lathe! We’ll be turning bowls on a lathe to get you familiar with the tools, and so you can turn a beautiful bowl! We’ll be making them out of either cherry, or black limba and you’ll take home a fully finished bowl ready to use! It’s much more fun to eat ice cream from you own hand made bowl!
