We’ll build our own bodies from Ash wood starting from a block of wood to a finely shaped guitar body. We’ll route the guitar for pickups, for the hard maple neck, all the electronics, and install the hardware. We go over the installation of the neck, solder the electronics, Install the tuners, install the neck nut, bridge, and go over how to setup the guitar properly to get it just like you like it! The cost of the class includes Ash body, mighty mite tele neck, hardware, pickups, switches, and cover plate.

In this class you’ll be building one of three designs you pick from. End grain cutting boards are a far more unique looking board then your standard cutting board, and are better for your knives. This is a three evening class where you’ll learn to glue up, use a sled on a table saw, use a jointer, use a router, sand, and apply a finish. You’ll leave with a beautiful board of your own using local and exotic species of wood.Cost is $185 which covers everything including materials, shop time, and professional instruction.Max class size 4 Beginner to advanced -

When you’re ready to dive into finding out what the real details are in building truly hand crafted fine furniture this is your course. You’ll be building a shaker style end table starting with 8/4 cherry and building the entire piece from one board. You’ll learn how to best use the lumber for the least waste and proper grain patters for easier building and a long lasting piece of furniture. This class will require machine work and also hand cut mortise and tenons. It’s a wonderful course to learn what the experts know and build a truly beautiful piece.

Taking our hand plane class is a great way to learn how to use your hand planes, and choose which planes you need for their intended uses. One of the most crucial parts of any hand plane is setup and sharpening. We’ll demonstrate each of these throughout the course of the day. We talk about different styles and brands, there intended uses, their maintenance needs, and a little bit of history. This is a full day class with both demonstrations and hands on work. If you are new to woodworking and want to get into hand tools, or are experienced but not quite sure why your tools don’t perform as they should, this is a great and very fun class to take.

They are a lot of fun to make, make wonderful gifts, and there’s nothing like sculpting your own pen by your hand, for your own hand!! We have over 30 varieties of wood to choose from and we’ll take you start to finish so you take home your own hand made pen, but also know how to do it all on your own in future.Cost is $79 which includes all materials, shop time, and professional instruction.Max 4 people. 2 hour class -

Have you taken the bowl class? This is your next step, re learning techniques presented in the bowl class, but we'll be stepping you up to High Speed Steel tools. Teach you how to use them and how to sharpen them.We'll be making 7" bowls for your to finish and take home. Species of wood will vary with each class.3 hour classCost is $150
