Learn the art of using a lathe! We’ll be turning bowls on a lathe to get you familiar with the tools, and so you can turn a beautiful bowl! We’ll be making them out of either cherry, or black limba and you’ll take home a fully finished bowl ready to use! It’s much more fun to eat ice cream from you own hand made bowl! This is a very limited class where we help you build your own workbench. We take from Christopher Schwarz design and throw in our own modern flair. We use heavy duty northern pine wood and offer upgrades to the basic class. The basic workbench will be a solid yellow pine top and legs and have Andrew Kleins turbo vise installed as a tail or face vise.
