Learn the art of using a lathe! We’ll be turning bowls on a lathe to get you familiar with the tools, and so you can turn a beautiful bowl! We’ll be making them out of either cherry, or black limba and you’ll take home a fully finished bowl ready to use! It’s much more fun to eat ice cream from you own hand made bowl! Card scrapers. How to sharpen and use.Card scrapers, possibly one of the least utilized tool in your woodworking tool arsenal. Come learn their uses, how to sharpen them, and take home your own scraper that you've just sharpened.2 hour classCost is $70 which includes a card scraper. -

Come build one of three designs of a charcuterie board from Walnut, maple, or cherry hardwood. This is a beginners class and can be taken individually or as a couple. We’ll be using the band saw to shape the board, drill press, sanders, a router table, and we’ll finish the board with food safe oil. This is a very fun class and takes about 3 hours. Materials and everything included. -

The learning to epoxy class is a great class for those wanting to use epoxy in their woodworking and other areas. -
February 7 & 8, 2026 9am - 5pm each day
Build your own unique Steltman chair. This is a very contemporary chair that’s beautiful and surprisingly comfortable. It’s a big eye catcher at the school and a fun build. We’ll be working with a Festool domino, table saw, miter saw, router table, multiple hand planes, and sanders. You can chose to build yours from either maple, cherry, or walnut. Please add your choice under notes when you sign up. Cost is $640 which includes all materials, shop time, and professional instruction. -
February 1, 8, 15 & 22, 2026 6pm - 8pm - each night
These are fabulous chest used for centuries and are great chest to hold tools, or almost anything. We build the carcass in this class using cherry and walnut as a highlight. We do a lot of hand plane work along with some machine work to join the box using dado’s and cut nails. You’ll learn some mill techniques, hand planing, making dado’s by hand, and learning how to build understanding wood movement. Intermediate level class/ 4 day class -

Come make your own cheese slicer! This course is a beginning level tailored to those wanting to try a little woodworking and leave with a great wood cheese slicer. Wood is naturally anti-microbial and the best option for a cheese slicer. Are you new to house DIY or interested in trying a little woodworking? Do you want to know the tools and how to use them? Do you have questions but are afraid to ask? We'll help in any way we can to help you do the basics so you feel more comfortable. From how to hang a picture, to what tools you'd need, to what machines you might need to start woodworking. January 13, 14 & 15, 2026 6pm – 9pm each night
In this class you’ll be building one of three designs you pick from. End grain cutting boards are a far more unique looking board then your standard cutting board, and are better for your knives. This is a three evening class where you’ll learn to glue up, use a sled on a table saw, use a jointer, use a router, sand, and apply a finish. You’ll leave with a beautiful board of your own using local and exotic species of wood.Cost is $185 which covers everything including materials, shop time, and professional instruction.Max class size 4 Beginner to advanced
